Wedding Ceremony Planning
To start organising your wedding ceremony, we meet, we talk, and we get to know each other.
If you both decide that I’m the one for you, I listen to your ideas and we form a plan to create the perfect wedding ceremony for you.
To ensure your day is everything you’ve dreamed of I will provide the following services:
Provide consultation through phone, email and face to face meetings.
Witness and authorise your identification.
Offer you access to my compendium of songs, readings and vows, and select what hits the right note for you.
Liaise with you to write and finalise the perfect script for your wedding ceremony.
Prepare all legal documents and certificates.
Lead a rehearsal at the venue (recommended).
Officiate and solemnise the marriage at your wedding venue.
A PA system and microphone will be provided if required.
Registration of the marriage with Birth, Deaths and Marriages.

Pick who you want to marry you. It can be anyone. Your brother. Your auntie. Your best friend. Your Zumba teacher. ANYONE!
STEP 2
TICK OFF A CHECKLIST
Your Celebrant Buddy completes a checklist with guidance from Rebecca. She will help your Celebrant Buddy build the ceremony from start to finish.
STEP 3
PICK YOUR PACKAGE
- Legals are done in the week prior to your ceremony.
- Legals are completed the same day before or after your ceremony.
- Legals are completed during your ceremony.

Official Stuff
Evidence of Date and Place of Birth
This can be a birth certificate or a passport: These must be a Births Deaths and Marriages certified copy.
Photo ID
Driver’s Licence, Passport or Over-18 card.
Evidence any prior marriages have been terminated
This may be a divorce certificate, death certificate or annulment certificate (Court ordered, not religious).
Change of Name Certificate
If you have changed your name via Deed Poll or through Births Deaths and Marriages, you must provide your ‘Change of Name Certificate’.
You may scan and email these documents, however it is a legal requirement that I sight the original documents in person prior to the ceremony.
If any of the above documents are not in English, you must provide a NAATI certified translation along with the original document.

Funerals
A funeral is a sacred time to honour, celebrate, and acknowledge the life of someone dearly loved. It is a moment to pause, reflect, and give thanks for the memories, the stories, and the legacy they leave behind.
Through shared words, treasured memories, and heartfelt tributes, family and friends can come together in love and compassion to remember a life that mattered. Each service is thoughtfully created to reflect the individuality, values, and spirit of the person being honoured.
It would be a privilege to gently guide you through this process and to create and lead a meaningful ceremony that supports you and your family as you say your final goodbye with dignity, warmth, and care.
Pre-Written Funeral Service
Take control today and ease future stress for your family.
A pre-written funeral ceremony allows you to thoughtfully plan your farewell in advance, ensuring it truly reflects your life, your values, and the legacy you wish to leave. Together, we will create and document a personalised service that captures your story, your voice, and the moments that matter most to you.
From readings and music selections to personal messages, memories, and special touches, your wishes are clearly recorded and safely kept. When the time comes, your family will have the comfort of knowing they are honouring you exactly as you intended.
Choosing to pre-write your ceremony is a profound and selfless act of love. It removes uncertainty, eases emotional pressure, and gives your loved ones the space to grieve, confident that every detail has already been thoughtfully taken care of.
Naming Ceremonies
A naming ceremony is a beautiful and meaningful way for family and friends to gather and surround your precious child with love, support, and heartfelt wishes for the future.
Whether you are welcoming a newborn or celebrating the addition of an older child to your family, this occasion is centred entirely on honouring your child and the special place they hold in your lives. It is an opportunity to formally introduce them to your community, share your hopes and promises, and create lasting memories together.
I would be delighted to guide you through the process and help you create a personalised ceremony that reflects your family’s values, love, and joy.
Commitment Ceremonies
A commitment ceremony is a beautiful and meaningful way to celebrate your love and devotion in front of family and friends, without the legal formalities of marriage. It is a celebration centred purely on your connection, your promises, and the life you are choosing to share.
Together, we will create a ceremony that truly reflects who you are as individuals and as a couple your personalities, your story, your values, and your dreams for the future. Whether you envision something intimate and romantic, relaxed and light-hearted, or filled with laughter and joy, your ceremony will be thoughtfully designed to feel authentic and uniquely yours.
Most importantly, it will be a moment where love takes centre stage sincere, personal, and unforgettable.
Vow Renewals / I-Do Take 2
Is a special anniversary approaching? Or perhaps your first wedding didn’t unfold quite as you had imagined?
Whatever the reason, a vow renewal is a beautiful opportunity to celebrate your journey and reaffirm your love and commitment to one another. Together, we can create a personalised ceremony that reflects who you are today honouring your shared memories, growth, and the life you have built together.
This time, your ceremony can be exactly as you’ve always dreamed meaningful, heartfelt, and uniquely yours.

Fees
A wedding ceremony is a deeply personal and unique occasion, hence each fee is calculated accordingly.
A “legal only” wedding will therefore attract a lower fee than a full wedding ceremony.
However, a $200 non-refundable deposit (to be paid within two weeks from first meeting) is required to secure your booking.
Travel within a radius of 50km of Launceston included. Any travel outside of this area will incur an additional travel allowance.
If an overnight stay is required, the accommodation is to be paid in full by the couple. Conditions may apply.
Payment plans may be arranged with full payment to be made 60 days prior to the ceremony.
Refund Policy
- If you wish to cancel the ceremony, notification must be given in writing at least 90 days before the date of the ceremony to be eligible for a refund.
- No refunds will be given for cancellations received within 90 days of the ceremony date.
- The refund will not include the non-refundable deposit of $200.
- Where possible the option to reschedule the ceremony will be offered.
