Wedding Ceremony Planning
To start organising your wedding ceremony, we meet, we talk, and we get to know each other.
If you both decide that I’m the one for you, I listen to your ideas and we form a plan to create the perfect wedding ceremony for you.
To ensure your day is everything you’ve dreamed of I will provide the following services:
Provide consultation through phone, email and face to face meetings.
Witness and authorise your identification.
Offer you access to my compendium of songs, readings and vows, and select what hits the right note for you.
Liaise with you to write and finalise the perfect script for your wedding ceremony.
Prepare all legal documents and certificates.
Lead a rehearsal at the venue (recommended).
Officiate and solemnise the marriage at your wedding venue.
A PA system and microphone will be provided if required.
Registration of the marriage with Birth, Deaths and Marriages.

Rebecca was an amazing celebrant, we had a couple of meetings prior to the day to go through preliminaries and Bec got to know us to help personalise our vows. Bec provided draft copies of the vows, via email, to ensure we were happy. We had a rehearsal the night before to ensure everything would be OK on the day. On the wedding day Bec did a wonderful job, putting everyone at ease with her professional but easy going manner. We are honoured that Bec chose to marry us, and would recommend her to any couple planning their special day.
Hiring Rebecca as our celebrant was the best decision for our wedding! Rebecca made sure that our ceremony was perfect for us, it truly showed our relationship and personality’s perfectly. Official Stuff
Evidence of Date and Place of Birth
This can be a birth certificate or a passport: These must be a Births Deaths and Marriages certified copy.
Photo ID
Driver’s Licence, Passport or Over-18 card.
Evidence any prior marriages have been terminated
This may be a divorce certificate, death certificate or annulment certificate (Court ordered, not religious).
Change of Name Certificate
If you have changed your name via Deed Poll or through Births Deaths and Marriages, you must provide your ‘Change of Name Certificate’.
You may scan and email these documents, however it is a legal requirement that I sight the original documents in person prior to the ceremony.
If any of the above documents are not in English, you must provide a NAATI certified translation along with the original document.

Funerals
A funeral is a time to celebrate and acknowledge the life of someone who has passed away. With love and compassion you can share your memories and family stories. It would be an honour to create and lead a service to assist you and your family in saying your final goodbyes.
Naming Ceremonies
A naming ceremony is a beautiful way for friends and family to come together to show their love and support for your precious child. This could be for a new baby or for the addition of an older child to your family. This day is all about celebrating your child and I would be delighted to help you with the process.
Commitment Ceremonies
A commitment ceremony is a wonderful way of celebrating your love and devotion to each other in front of family and friends without the legal binding vows of a wedding. Together we can create a ceremony that reflects your personalities, is filled with love and includes a little bit of fun too.
Vow Renewals / I-Do Take 2
Do you have a special anniversary approaching or did your first wedding not go as planned? Whatever the reason, we can compose a ceremony to reaffirm your love and commitment to each other and conduct a service that will be everything you dreamed of.
Rebecca ensured that everything ran smoothly and was perfect for us, organising our day was a breeze as catching up to plan with Rebecca felt like catching up with a dear friend for coffee. Nothing was ever too much trouble, I couldn’t imagine having anyone else stand beside us on our big day!

Rebecca met with us 3 times before our wedding to learn our story. We formed a friendship which enhanced the experience for us, our family and friends. Fees
A wedding ceremony is a deeply personal and unique occasion, hence each fee is calculated accordingly.
A “legal only” wedding will therefore attract a lower fee than a full wedding ceremony.
However, a $150 non-refundable deposit (to be paid within two weeks from first meeting) is required to secure your booking.
Travel within a radius of 50km of Launceston included. Any travel outside of this area will incur an additional travel allowance.
If an overnight stay is required, the accommodation is to be paid in full by the couple. Conditions may apply.
Payment plans may be arranged with full payment to be made 30 days prior to the ceremony.
Refund Policy
- If you wish to cancel the ceremony, notification must be given in writing at least 90 days before the date of the ceremony to be eligible for a refund.
- No refunds will be given for cancellations received within 90 days of the ceremony date.
- The refund will not include the non-refundable deposit of $150.
- Where possible the option to reschedule the ceremony will be offered.
